Parents Association

At Giant Steps Illinois, our parents are active participants in our success. From reinforcing the daily accomplishments of their children to providing support for the ongoing therapies and academics, our parents are intimately involved in our programs.

But our parents go above and beyond that level of involvement. They are integral to the success of the school itself. The Giant Steps Parent Teacher Cooperative acts as a fundraising arm of the school, with special events such as the annual Dinner and Auction, held each fall.

Giant Steps Illinois is a unique therapeutic day school which provides specifically designed educational and therapeutic programs for children with autism spectrum disorders; fostering independence by exposing the children to a variety of life experiences in the community. Through generous grants and donations, Giant Steps is able to provide a high quality, individualized educational program for each student. All donations to Giant Steps Illinois, Inc. are tax exempt under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Thank you for your support.
